airport check-in??

Can someone please explain how airport check-in works? We will be staying at the Flamingo in Oct, and everyone is talking about doing the airport check-in. Can you try to get a room upgrade if you do this? Thank you for any input!!

Harrah%26#39;s and MGM/mirage both have a check in area in baggage claim. You can certainly check in for the flamingo there and generally, you have a shorter line and yes they can upgrade you too...Works about the same as the hotel.

I have used this service several times with pretty good success. The only problems I have ever run into is if you arrive late. They close at 11pm, but the computers go off-line at airport check-in earlier than that. So if you are arriving after 9p, I would just go straight to the hotel.

we arrive on Sunday Sept 3rd FRom NYC and i heard lines are crazy over the weekends

I checked in a few weeks ago at the Flamingo airport. It was a breeze. They were so NICE!!!! I asked for a better room and got one just by asking nicely. The clerk explained the different room views etc. and let me choose. No $20 needed nor would I ever offer.

When I got to the Hotel the line was really long. YIKES! When I got in my room it was not clean and I called right from the dirty room and they offered me a suite. How lucky was that!

BTW this was on a Wednesday when I checked in. As I walked through the hotel over the weekind the lines were really LONG. Makes me think twice about checking in on a Friday or a Saturday.

is this airport check in available for all hotels pls
