Looking to buy a Gibson les Paul guitar for my hubby%26#39;s birthday gift whilst in Vegas in September.......Prices in England for the type he wants are around 拢1300...anyone out there know of any shops and where they are located and of a rough price guide....

GuitarsAll kind of Pawn shops where poor gamblers have hocked their guitars along the strip. They also have many music shops close to the Hilton and downtown.
GuitarsMusicians are a dime a dozen in town, and most out of work. Go to any of the PAWN shops in town and you will be baffled with all the choices.
Not sure of the location but Ed Roman%26#39;s Guitars is one of the biggest guitar shops in the US...in Las Vegas.
In the US, Gibson Les Pauls (real ones) retail for around $3500 (1900 GBP) and I%26#39;ve found mail order prices around $2500 (1400 GBP).
The suggestion to check out pawn shops is good if you are knowledgable about what you%26#39;re buying and are not concerned about warranties and such.
There is (was) a Guitar Center store at 3085 E. Tropicana. They%26#39;re a large reputable chain that offer decent prices. I don%26#39;t know their pricing for LPs.
If you haven%26#39;t made your plane reservations yet, see if you can get a layover in Memphis, Tennessee - you can visit the Gibson Guitar Factory and buy one direct from the factory at their shop. I went to Memphis last September and bought a Gibson acoustic guitar direct from the factory. You cut out the middleman and save a bundle.
