I%26#39;m planning on dining here over the summer. I%26#39;ve already made reservations and was told that the window seats couldn%26#39;t be reserved. Does anyone have any idea on how much you would tip the maitre%26#39;d to get a window seat. There will be four of us.

I would like to know this as well. I have reservations for 9pm at night and I was inclined to just wait until a window seat would be available.

This is a good post and a good question.
I don%26#39;t know the answer, but I%26#39;m interested as well.
I don%26#39;t know the answer but, I can tell you that you have a great view from every seat. The restaurant moves so, your view will change as you are eating. Just to put my two cents in......I would recommend
Alize at the Palms or Mix at Mandalay Bay. The food at TOW is just ok. You are definitely paying for the view.
had drinks at both last month. i would seriously consider mix.
Thanks for the info- we%26#39;ll probably try both places. We%26#39;re staying at the hotel at mandalay bay and we were planning on going to the mix anyway. What can you give me for info on the mix- bottle service, long lines, etc. We would like to sit at a table and enjoy a few drinks.
We had dinner there last year. I think it is pot luck where you get seated. It is really nice to have dinner up there and see Vegas from above. You dont really feel it is moving either. Food was good from what I remember. The only negative I had with it was that it was very dark inside. I like a nice romantic setting but I struggled to see across the table!
I made my reservation for 5:30, as soon as they opened for dinner, we were the 2nd ones there and we could sit anywhere we wanted. We had the dinner for 2, which was the Chateau Brion(spelling), it was great!!! Didn%26#39;t have to tip to sit there either.
Eaten there a few times and just asked for a window table when booking - never seems to be a problem
We%26#39;ve dined here a few times and you don%26#39;t have to tip huge to get a window seat - just be prepared for a wait. They give you a pager and page you when a table becomes available. Although they sometimes tell you the wait is up to an hour, we%26#39;ve never had to wait much longer than 30 - 45 minutes. It%26#39;s worth it!!
