Anyone stay there before....I leave in 2 weeks and would like to know what to expext ....Thanx

Expect the same but with some more room. Same amount of homeless and scaries outside though. For what you pay for a suite at the Strat, you could probably get a jacuzzi suite @ NYNY.

Not a classy property, a ';value'; or ';bargain'; hotel due to tacky decor and location. Long walk to mid strip, passing a few tatoo parlors and vagrants on the way. The suites themselves are pretty nice

But, change to a standard room in a nicer place for the same money

moderate priced but great, TI, Ballys, Luxor, Monte Carlo(nice pool),

up the price/quality ladder...MGM, Mirage, Rio (offstrip), Mandalay Bay, Aladdin(construction going on), Paris, Caesar%26#39;s Palace, Bellagio, Venetian, Wynn

I don%26#39;t know about the suites, but the hotel itself is not that bad...

I think Strat gets a bad rap. I think it%26#39;s pretty nice, except for the immediate surroundings outside.

On the inside though, it%26#39;s pretty nice looking and has a pretty fun and upbeat atmosphere.

The pool and gym facilities are decent, but it%26#39;s not that big and probably packed during the summer.

The Tower is the bomb though, and I highly recommend you check it out and the lounge up there.

The rooms are pretty clean, but the windows (in the standard rooms at least) SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!! These windows kill what WOULD be a very nice view.

Oh and one thing to remember about the Stratosphere?

Do NOT order drinks there!!!!!!

Their drinks are so downright nasty, that I don%26#39;t know what to say. I mean, their drink service is equivalent to Arizona Charlie%26#39;s Decateur, and yes I%26#39;ve tried the drink service at AC%26#39;s Decateur, and I think no matter what you order, they serve you Thunderbird or Ripple, or a combination of the two.

I ordered a Henny and Coke at the Strat, and they came back with something that made me feel like I was back in the hood.... some really cheap whisky or something... it could have been E%26amp;J or Cisco, but also might have been Thunderbird.

Why they are serving drinks this cheap I will never know. That totally killed it for me.

They have different suites, so it depends on which one you reserved and which one they give you. We had a suite with a seperate bedroom that was pretty nice! VERY spacious! As far as suites, the Stratosphere still has some of the best deals in town!

Have never stayed there but can only imagine the ';suites are not that ';sweet';...
