Malfunction with the in-room safe. Problem solved at the TI within 25 minutes after a visit from security and proof of our identity.
Hardly a problem at all.

We had the problem too I guess I misunderstood the instructions also a no hassle problem for us at TI.
Keep them coming.
MC - drawer on nightstand would open up unless it was wedged close with a folded piece of paper (which was like that upon arrival). Water glasses removed after 1st night and never replaced until last night. Thin walls. Didn%26#39;t complain as hadn%26#39;t had any problems any of the other times stayed at Monte Carlo.
Last year at The Venetian I went to check the room account on the TV only to find the details related to another room in another tower of the hotel. I called the front desk who put me through to the %26#39;IT Department%26#39; who had me on hold for 5 minutes before apologising and assuring me that the problem would be fixed within an hour or so.
Needless to say it wasn%26#39;t fixed and this fiasco was repeated at 24 hourly intervals throughout our 5 day stay with no satisfaction whatsoever. By the evening before we we due to check out I was fuming (I was intending to use the quick check out facility but as I couldn%26#39;t see what I was being billed for I didn%26#39;t want to risk it) and I went to the front desk and demanded to see the manager who I told in no uncertain terms how unhappy I was and how I expected better at The Venetian etc etc. She was truly sorry and had the courtesy to take the time to go through all my room charges so I could check all was ok (it was) and then assured me the TV display would be fixed before I got back to my room. It was and not only that but the front desk called to say they were knocking 5% off the total due to the inconvenience. Not a huge amount I know but it was a nice gesture.
I guess the lesson is that you should go and speak to a manager face to face immediately there%26#39;s a problem and not rely on people answering phones.
Come on guys where are the tales of ';I found a dead hooker under the bed and they would not move me to another room';
I had to pay for it.
The worst thing about one of the rooms we stayed in was you could hear the people in the next room getting it on all night!! And they were noisy!! Embarrassing when you have a 13 year old with you!!!!
gailzy
I guess you got that little birds and bees talk out of the way that night
We were at the Bellagio last year in May and I guess the entire city was plagued with a moth infestation at the time. We had a beautiful salone suite, and I guess the previous occupants had left the small window vents opened and A LOT of moths entered the room. When we went into the room, I immediately went to open the curtains and all the moths flew out at me and I never screamed so loud in my life! I later noticed more DEAD moths on the floor, and a few more flying around. We immediately called house keeping and they sent some guys up to clean up the room within 20 minutes or so. But when we returned I still found a couple of dead ones the guys missed, and another live in in the bathroom which my husband just eliminated himself. But for all our troubles, the Bellagio acknowledged this inconvenience and has offered us a free upgrade to a Bellagio suite for our next stay. I%26#39;ll take that!
