Hello- but what would posses you to spend $350 for a bottle of booze just to get into a nightclub? Sorry, but I cannot understand, is it the atmosphere, music, hope to spot a ';celebrity';., the need to feel like a celebrity? Like, that%26#39;s my gambling $$$$? How much does one spend on an outfit to ';fit in'; to this special ';club';- just wondering?
$350. a bottle?None of the above. You are not paying to get into the club (free if you do bottle service, whatever the cover is if you do not) it is to bypass the line and for the exclusive use of the table for the entire evening. At LIGHT (Bellagio) the tables are strictly for bottle service and there were not any seats which would have meant standing (or dancing) the entire five hours we were there.
I did not purchase any special outfit and obviously it is not for everybody. Before my husband surprised me with it I thought the idea was equally ridiculous (maybe it still is, objectively speaking) but subjectively, thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
The atmosphere was the same at the table or in the rest of the club (again, only speaking to LIGHT) but we did have our own security and bus boy for the section so maybe you could call that atmosphere.
Hope any of that answers your question.
$350. a bottle?I guess I%26#39;m just a cheap Canadian?
vegascats - I agree with you it seems crazy! In clubs in London there are always seats to sit down in (and sometimes chiil oiut areas as well) - but clubs would never dream of charging for the priviledge!
Not wanting to pay 350 for a seat and a table and a bottle of booze hardly makes you cheap my canadian friend.
It is difficult to get your head around...
Until you think of the hundreds of thousands of people every day who pay big bucks to fly first class with a little nicer seat, priority access, better service and drinks (sound familiar?).
The plane gets there the same time as the coach class.
Fans pay upwards of three times the price, often thousands more, for courtside or ringside seats compared to those a couple rows away.
Its nothing to drop hundreds playing golf, going to a ball game, attending a concert or show production.
So why not? If you are going to enjoy something for five hours, might as well do it right.
Ouch! ok you win! Mind you%26#39;l--l I%26#39;ll be flying economy. :)
I am still laughing at your question...especially ';like, that%26#39;s my gambling $$$$?'; Sounds like my hubby but I, the girl, am dying to try this scene. Now $1500.00 for a Saturday table at Pure IS sounding totally ridiculous to me, even!! I have some time to plan it but it is nice to get all of this good info. Yes, I want to spot a celeb but would have NO INTENTION of approaching them. I think they have a right to have fun, too. Anyway, have a BLAST in Vegas and check out ';Big Elvis'; at Barbery Coast! It was a blast!
VEgascats, I?m with you, it%26#39;s crazy to pay 350$ for a bottle and a seat. I guess if you are a normal person with a normal job it sounds crazy to waste all that money in a bottle and a seat but maybe for people who earn money more ';easily'; 350$ it%26#39;s nothing to them and they just pay wahtever they are asked to . I still think it%26#39;s ridiculous to pay that for the ';atmosphere'; when you can just pay an entrance fee of 20$ and 10$ a drink.
I%26#39;m a registered nurse so I don%26#39;t make my money ';easily';. Actually work ridiculously hard for a very small salary. Just thought you%26#39;d like to know.
Hey you should come to Canada, my sister%26#39;s a nurse, and she makes more money than me ';part-time'; heck she takes extra shifts for %26#39;gambling $';. I was thinking I%26#39;d go into nursing!- really I%26#39;m not kidding!
