Its a dump..... just kidding!! Really I think that the last time I was through there it seemed pretty desolate. But then that was several years ago so who knows now. I just couldn%26#39;t resist replying

I%26#39;m Not sure but I think that is the town just north of vegas where all of the ranches are. There isn%26#39;t much there if it is the same town I am thinking of.
Bendover what?
Wendover is on the Utah/Nevada State Line just off of I-80. It%26#39;s almost 500 miles North of LV (Nevada is actually a pretty good sized state.) You probably couldn%26#39;t find much about it, because it%26#39;s not that large of a community. Wendover UT is about 15000 folks; believe Wendover NV is not much larger. There%26#39;s about 2 - 3 small hotel casinos there. (If you%26#39;re into military history, Wendover AAF was were the B29%26#39;s trained for the A-bomb drop on Japan...)
i stopped in there for the night once - it was on my way to wherever i was driving. creepy little casiono town. wouldn%26#39;t recommend it unless it%26#39;s on your way to wherever you%26#39;re driving. they do have a brothel - that i do remember kind of fondly. come to think of it, that was kind of creepy too.
It%26#39;s actually West Wendover, NV and Wendover, UT is just across the stateline with the line just outside the door of Montego Bay casino. We enjoy the casinos and hotels in this small town. Three of the casinos - Peppermill, Rainbow and Montego Bay - are offering air flights for customers to get there. We flew there once and throughly enjoyed it. Also there is a Nugget Casino across from Montego Bay and a small Red Garter by the Rainbow Casino.
Not much to do there except gamble although later this summer a concert hall will be open for entertainment.
We found the food to be good, hotels were nice, staff were friendly and the slots seemed to be better than in Vegas. You can walk from one casino to the others but the three casinos that are owned by the same company offer a shuttle.
It%26#39;s located on I-80 just at the east side of the Nevada/Utah border.
