Would you be so kind as to give me your thoughts on these...

Pretty please?

Harrahs, Barbary Coast, Flamingo.

I know they are older hotels so I just wanna know what the rooms are like. I know I can read reviews on them but ya know how that goes. You can get a ton of posts from people who hated the place just because one little thing went wrong. So I just want an honest and updated opinion.

thanks for helping this car chic out.

Would you be so kind as to give me your thoughts on these...

Have stayed at Flamingo recently of the 3. Have stayed here past couple of years since after out first visit, they keep giving me free 2-nite midweek room offers, and ya just can%26#39;t beat that! Flamingo rooms are fine, a little old esp. the bathrooms, which is why I suggest you check your shower water pressure before you unpack-we had a problem with ours last time, and they moved us across the hall to a room with better water pressure immediately. The beds are comfy, there are safes in the rooms, bring your own coffeepot if you need your jolt first thing in A.M. as there are none. The food in the restaurants is decent, not great, but we only ate one meal at our hotel anyway. The big plus is location and easy access to the strip, as well as a gorgeous pool area. Also good monorail access if you are going to use it. I love the Flamingo, the casino seems cozy not cavernous(maybe just because I have become so familiar with it by now) and the elevators are easy to access and there are a lot of them so no waiting to get upstairs to room. The high floor strip-view rooms have nice views if you can gt one, and the desk agents have always been more than friendly about upgrading us to a view room without even the $20 trick. Our experience has been that housekeeping does a good job here as well. The thing that makes me come back again and again are the free room offers(Sun-Thurs) I keep getting from them, even tho I am by no means a big gambler-racked up a whopping $12 in comps last trip. Must join the rewards club to get offers-hope this helps a little.

My most recent stay of the 3 was Flamimgo as well, Jan. this year, staying again in July. Has been a few years since I stayed at Harrahs. Never stayed at Barbary Coast. Love Flamingo. Last trip had a high floor with a view of the strip. There was a coffe maker in our room, very small but got the job done. Have stayed at the Flamingo many times, never had any major problems. Room not ready until 6pm, computer not working at airport check-in, fire alarm going off repeately at 5am, just got to bed 15min. before. But nothing to get real excited about. Buffet is fair, coffe shop is pretty good, Margaritaville is Great!! Pool is very nice, a little crowded and tuff to find a chair sometimes ( same at any hotel with a nice pool). If you are looking for pool time, stay away from Harrahs, pool is small and very unremarkable, don%26#39;t think Barbary Coast has one. Hope this helps.

Depending on if you need a pool or not, I would take Barbary Coast.

Flamingo would be second. Harrahs isn%26#39;t even in the running for me.

Flamingo is very nice, have stayed there a couple times and would go back, no question. Stayed at Harrahs a few years ago and didn%26#39;t have any problems there either, although I prefer Flamingo. Never stayed at Barbary Coast but it seems like a nice property, and the only reason I probably wouldn%26#39;t book it is the lack of a pool. All three have excellent locations, which to me is one of the most important factors on the strip in Vegas. If it were me, I%26#39;d rate them Flamingo first, then Harrahs, then BC. I think any of the three would be fine, though.

Thanks!!!!!!! You all rock!

Anyone else have any thoughts?

I stayed at the Flamingo 1 year ago and did not like the room at all, very old and dingy. The pool is great though.

Stayed at Harrah%26#39;s and had a really nice and updated room. Don%26#39;t know about the pool because we went in November and it was cool.

Never stayed at Barbary Coast.

if you dont need a pool i would choose barbary. we did. will be there june 15 - 19th. ill let you know how it is.

Thanks ace. I don%26#39;t need a pool, we never use them when we go.
