Construction north of Venetian?

Hello all! I%26#39;m back from Vegas and it was thrilling... my trip report is on its way.

I do have one question... what is all the construction just north of the Venetian? There%26#39;s no signs or anything...

... anyone know?

Construction north of Venetian?

I believe I heard they were Condos? Anyone?

Construction north of Venetian?

I believe you are asking about the Encore at Wynn.

Can%26#39;t wait for your trip report!

It is a new resort/casino which will be called the Palazzo. I saw a model of the combined Palazzo/Venetian property somewhere in the Venetian last week.

yes, ITS part of the venetian complex

If you%26#39;re talking about the construction immediately north of the Venetian (and south of Spring Mountain Rd...i.e. before the crossover to the Wynn.), it is another expansion of the Venetian. The addition is supposed to include another 2,400 rooms and a 5-story underground parking structure. Not sure on when it%26#39;s supposed to be done, though.

I think I recall seeing a sign that the shops at the Palazzo should be finished in Fall 2007, if that is any indiciation.....

By the way, why does the Venetian put all of those signs/placards on top of the beautiful architecture of there hotel, it ruins its appearance. Especially, the blue man group on the clock/bell tower.

Okay! Thanks! I just looked up ';Palazzo'; on Google based on your info and it looks pretty cool! Includes a 60 foot dome for the lobby and an expansion of the Grand Canal Shoppes

Supposed to complete fall of %26#39;07... but who knows.

Can%26#39;t wat to see it!

While staying at the Venetian last week- watched their hotel channel %26amp; they talked about construction of the Palazzo. Once completed, the Venetian will be the worlds largest hotel %26amp; casino. I think it would add 2000 more rooms if I remember correctly.

Looking at the model they had in the Venetian, the tower associated with the Palazzo seems to be much larger than the current Venetian towers which look large and impressive as they currently stand. Wonder how the Palazzo will look in comparison.

The internal concrete core of the Palazzo tower seems to be rising out the ground right now.

Also, it seems that a lot of rooms in the Venezia tower just have view of the old Venetian tower is this correct.

Also, the Venetian needs to classy up the entrance into their casino from the self-parking garage. Wasn%26#39;t that nice.
