We are arriving on a Saturday night around 10:30 pm so I am not expecting there will be much opportunity for room upgrades, but do you think it would be best to check in at the airport, or wait until we get to the hotel? I am not sure how many people come in on Sat nite at this time....
And is there a shuttle that goes to Paris? How many stops does it make before that? Is that a better deal than a cab?
Paris-Check in at airport or hotel?
The Airport check-in closes at 11pm and the last 3 times I went and tried to do airport check-in the computers were off-line for Paris/Bally%26#39;s by 10pm. So I would probaby just check in at the hotel. At that time of night, check in lines shouldn%26#39;t be too bad at Paris.
As far as transporatation, take a taxi! Why waste an hour catching a shuttle that will stop 5-6 places first before you reach your hotel just to save a few $$$? Taxi should cost you about $15. It%26#39;s worth the time you%26#39;ll save, especially at that late hour.
Paris-Check in at airport or hotel?
NewBride4,
Actually, the later you check in, the better chances you have to upgrade. I was informed this by Check in at Paris just 2 months ago. I would do check in at the hotel and try for the upgrade.
Thanks!!! Yeah, by the time we collect our luggage, etc, it will probably be past 11 pm so we will plan to check in at the hotel. Maybe some of their ';P'; rooms will still be empty!
And it looks like cabbing it is the way to go. Thanks for the input.
