Shakeey28, I don%26#39;t know if you saw my earlier post...I was actually looking for an alternative to the Golden Steer, because my husband and I have been going there every year for the past 15 years to have our special anniversary dinner. We were married in L.V in 1992, and had our wedding night dinner at the Golden Steer in one of their private rooms....it was an oustanding meal, and needless to say, we%26#39;ve been going back year after year after year....I was trying to find something new to do this year, but the more I think of it, it looks like we might try something new AND have our traditional G.S. meal!

The G.S. is a classy place inside....don%26#39;t let the strip mall location and cheesy neon cow outside fool you; once your inside, it%26#39;s all class; waitstaff dressed in tuxes, antique glass/mirrored bar with

grand piano, leather booths with dark wood paneling, dim lighting, etc etc. I believe this was a popular hang-out with the rich and famous, back in the good ol%26#39; Vegas days....back when Vegas was class...not trash; there%26#39;s some booths named after Frank Sinatra, John Wayne, etc etc, with their pictures hanging above the booths.

Best part about G.S.? The steaks are heavenly....no matter where my husband and I eat when we go out for steak dinners, at home or on vacation, we are always comparing to the Golden Steer. Oh, and I can%26#39;t forget to mention the HUGE Idaho baked potatoes....they must weigh 5 pounds! Get one that%26#39;s twice-baked.....delicious!

Check out their website....I believe there might be a photo or two of the inside....can%26#39;t quite remember...but you CAN check out the menu. And yes, we like to dress up when we go there, although I have seen several people dressed casual....choice is yours.

Give it a try....I%26#39;m suprised it%26#39;s not rated higher with people......

Hope this helps.
