Can anyone advise on where i can find the best prices for packages from MSP?
Best website for packages out of Minneapolis
I%26#39;ve just spent the last two weeks (waaayy to much time) looking for our trip from MSP and worryfreevacations.com had the best packages by far. I checked all over - from direct with hotels and air only combinations to travelocity, expedia, etc and worry free had the best pricing. I talked with Travel agents too and they go the same website, only with ';travel agent'; codes and gave me the exact same pricing to the penny!
We went to Cancun last year through them and it was fantastic.

Visit worryfreevacation%26#39;s web site (.com) and sign up for their Red Hot Specials. Every Monday night you%26#39;ll get an email showing specials--they offer both packages and airfare only. I%26#39;ve done the best watching for airfare specials through them, then booking hotels direct. So...
Also visit the web sites of the hotels that interest you and sign up for their email specials. Put your own package together and you%26#39;ll be able to change hotel reservations if you find a better deal. If you book a package, you%26#39;re deal is sealed.
Also, Hobbit Travel out of Minneapolis (see their Website for email specials also) sometimes offer really good air fare to Vegas.

No need to go to every site because it brings them to you.

I use them quite often
I can second the other opinions of MLT-Worry Free Vacations. They run charters on Champion Air to the places Minnesotans like to visit, like Vegas and Mexico, so the airfare is the best deal out there. Charter flights won%26#39;t show up on travel sites like Expedia, Orbitz, or Travelocity. I always check out the online sites, then go to Worry Free.
Champion seems to have cramped seating in my opinion, so unless you are short like me, try to get to the airport a little early to get an emergency exit seat.
I have terrible luck getting the booking to work on the internet. This last time, the site kept timing out on me. I called their helpline and they booked for me over the phone - that was very nice.
I don%26#39;t know if you get better deals on hotels really, you may want to look at taking the flight with Worry Free and booking direct with the hotel - you%26#39;ll get better comps that way too. Since I don%26#39;t gamble, I just book the hotel with Worry Free too for the convenience.
I started planning my trip to Las Vegas back in October for the week of March 11 thru the 19, not that I wanted to stay all those days, it was just that we could leave and return anytime during that period. So, I spent days and days looking for the best deals and the most days for the money. I tried most travel sites and the cheapest was 480.00 per person Sun-Thurs. airfare %26amp; hotel, Fitzgeralds downtown or stratoshere on strip, did not seem like a good deal and wanted more time in the area. Went to Sun Country website and found we could fly to Laughlin roundtrip 270.00 per person, get a room at either the colorado bell or edgewater for 5.00 per night and rent a midsize car for 162.00 and get a car upgrade to a luxery car and am now staying sun. to sun!!! And yes, now we will drive back and forth to Vegas but we are used to commuting anyway. So heres what it is, 4 people the first way with car rental = 2000.00+, Laughlin and a little driving plus 3 more days = about 1400.00, 300.00 more per couple to gamble with, it is going to be great!!!!
We have now also gotten tixs to the Price is Right show in Hollywood so will be using some of our extra time to go to see Bob. Here is our tentative agenda, arrive Laughlin 9:40 a.m. Sun., pick up rental, hotel, drive to Hollywood, hotel overnight, Mon,early taping Price is Right, back to Laughlin early Mon. evening, Tues. strip, Wed. strip, Thurs. downtown, Fri. red rock %26amp; valley of fire, Sat. open day, Sun. return home. Will be fun!!! Any thoughts or ideas out there for Saturday??
I am going to las vegas in October from MSP. By far the best website is usairwaysvacations.com. I have found that there packages are about $300 cheaper than booking air and hotel seperately. We are staying at the Fitzgeralds for 5 nights for the price of one flight alone. (291 per person) versus 300 for the nonstop flight.
We%26#39;re going to Luxor thru MLT worryfree vacations in July; 4 nights w%26#39;air and hotel for $790 total. I love the fact that it%26#39;s charter air so non-stop flight from MSP to LAS. Also we arrive at 9:30 a.m. and don%26#39;t have to leave till 6 p.m. the last day.
Transglobal vacations also has great deals too, go to www.tgvacations.com. Check out their hot deals section; updated every Thursday.
I found pretty good prices on Sun Country vacations also.
Good luck!
When are you planning to go?
