Taxi Route

I have been told that in LV if you do not tell the taxi driver the exact route you would like to take that most will take the long way around.

First, have you found this to be true and second, what route should I tell the driver to take from McCarran to Barbary Coast.

Taxi Route

I have heard that there is a tunnel that needs to be avoided alsoLas Vegas Blvd. a/k/a The Strip. There is a street called Paradise that goe the same way without the traffic.

Taxi Route

I%26#39;ve been lucky in that the drivers have always taken the shortest route automatically. The only one who wanted to use the tunnel asked first and in that particular case it was worth the extra couple bucks to get there faster and avoiding traffic.

The drivers are supposed to take the direct route and you should ask them to take the most direct and shortest route when you give them your destination. You can file a complaint against them if they don%26#39;t.

Tell him to take Swenson to Paradise to Flamingo. He is not supposed to take the tunnel without asking.
