we are staying at i p august 2006 ive read on these boards there are no strip views are there any nice views we can ask for on a particular floor ive read there are some bad locations by the taxi rank or somwhere. any info please.

I have stayed there...Do yourself a favor and ask for a lower floor room 6th or 7th floor with a view of the pool. You won%26#39;t be sorry...

I stayed there in January it was the least expensive room we could find. There wasn%26#39;t really a view from my room.

Overall the room served its purpose. It was clean and the shower had good water pressure.

However the walls were thin and I was woken up by large truck noise very early one morning.

The cab line was a bit of a pain but you can always go to Harrahs next store or walk to another hotel if its a problem.

The main advantage of the IP is its central location. You can walk to all centrally located hotels on the strip from there with ease.

Also the dealertainers in the casino are a total trip. I liked it. Plus, I also won at slots in their casino and some very nice dealers taught my friends how to play black jack.

When checking out, the elevators were super slow...ended up having to take my luggage down some stairs =(

Good luck and make the best of it! It is just a room afterall and as far as I%26#39;m concerned sometimes you just need it to sleep in after partying all night.
