extra people in the room

There are 6 of us and we want to stay in one room (max amount of ppl in a room is 4) - how lenient are hotels on this rule? What are the chances they find out?

extra people in the room

Hotels in Vegas are NOT lenient and the chances they find out is about 90%.

This is also against Nevada Law, look it up.

Its called ';Defrauding an Innkeeper'; and you will either pay the additional person fee or be asked to vacate the premises post haste.

Enjoy your stay in Fabulous Las Vegas!

extra people in the room

Thanks Steve, we dont mind paying additional. Thats what were doing for ppl 3 and 4. Its that were not allowed a 5th and 6th in the same room, and would rather not pay for 2 rooms... Well prob stay at the Hard Rock. Are their chances 90%?

EVERYONE will find out. They%26#39;ll know by the stench as you walk past, since 6 people sharing one bathroom can%26#39;t be a good thing, and you%26#39;ll have to share towels...yeck!

Six people and one bath.....ugh. We had three people and paid for them with no regrets. We still had to request extra towels even with the 3 of us. Rooms aren%26#39;t that expensive, pay for 2 rooms is my advice. If you get caught you may be without a room.

Make the extra two pay for there own room. You could possibly get away with 3 people, meaning you said you had two but you brought in 3, still wrong but that would be more easily pulled off then 6. Plus you will find you all slept better, bathed better and everything else if there were less in your room.

there are cheap hotels if they can%26#39;t afford to pay. Heck if they can%26#39;t afford a cheap hotel in Vegas, why are they going then?

If you type ';extra people in room'; in the Search box ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ you will find tons of very l-o-n-g opinionated threads on this topic.

The proverbial ';dead horse'; as it were...

Why don%26#39;t the six of you split the cost of connecting rooms?????

At first I was thinking that marzbarz9 was not asking about sneaking extra people into the room, but the last question, ';What are the chance they find out?'; says differently. Marzbarz9, you said you do not mind paying for the extra people and plan to do that for #3 %26amp; 4. What is the extra charge and how does it compare to the cost of the room. You might find that paying for 4 extra people is not much less (if at all) than an extra room. Get 2 rooms. With 3 or you sharing one, you will each be paying one-third whatever my husband and I would have to pay...since ours comes out of one pocket. I believe the occupancy rules may be tied into the fire codes. Don%26#39;t take a chance on ruining your trip. If you just need to hang out together, you can visit in one room, but sleep in two.

Staunchsteve,

Are there any Nevada laws prohibiting driving across closed roads with Indian arrowheads? lol. Loved your TR part 2!

Welcome back:O)

Starz

I think you should just get two adjoining rooms since you said you do not mind paying; not sure how (or why) you would even want to cram 6 people into a room that is meant for two adults.

marzbarz9, did you ever hear of fire codes?? There%26#39;s good reason for the limits on # of people allowed in the room.

In addition, what you want to do is selfish and inconsiderate. The housekeeping staff are expected to clean a certain number of rooms during their shifts, many can%26#39;t go home until they%26#39;ve completed all of their rooms. It will take them a long time to clean a room and bathroom that 6 people are occupying.

Those extra people who are uninvited guests of the hotel are also taking up pool space and lounge chairs that invited guests have the right to use since they are paying for that privilege.

Can%26#39;t afford more than one room, then don%26#39;t go. Vegas is not a cheap place to visit unless you call paying $7-$14 for a drink cheap.
