MIX or Voodoo Lounge?

Which one is best?

Is there a charge to get into any of those if you go early?

How early do you have to go?

Are there places to seat where you don%26#39;t have to pay for bottle service?

What are you going for? Dancing and party. Or to drink and enjoy the view? At Rio right now. Voodoo was great. House band good and Dj outside with view great. Gogo girls dancing. I don%26#39;t Think Mix has dancing at least not when I have been there. Before 10:00p.m. I believe there is no $25 cover at Mix. I don%26#39;t think tables are available with out bottle service but I don%26#39;t know at Rio or Mx for sure after 10:30pm. Gotta go hit the tables.

MIX or Voodoo Lounge?

We went to VooDoo lounge last Thursday at around 8:30pm and there was a $20 cover. The view was unbelievable!!!! There were places to sit inside, but only bottle service seating outside.

We want a place for dancing and having a couple of drinks and I%26#39;d like to see the best views too!

Don%26#39;t know which was the ';best'; view but we had a blast at Voodoo Lounge over Memorial Day weekend. Nice group of people, very lively go-go dancers and the view outside was unbelievable with a two tiered outside deck. We are going back in July to Vegas and we will definitely go back to Voodoo.

I have never had a bad time at either place. Voodoo has a good view of the strip though.

Actually, the view at the MIX is amazing too. Looks straight north over the peak of the Luxor.

I was there for drinks last week. We went up just before sunset. There is no cover until later on. Dress is a little bit more formal than most places. No shorts, no tshirts etc.

They have outside seating -- there are plenty of available tables early in the evening, so you don%26#39;t need bottle service. It%26#39;s a wonderful place to have a drink. The view is stunning and it%26#39;s got a great vibe.

There is even a great view from the urinals -- there are windows above them that look out in a southerly direction.

It%26#39;s just a really cool place. You%26#39;ve gotta check it out.

Thanks Truman for the info about MIX, I just called regarding the cover charge and I was told there was a $20 charge Sun-Thur and $25 Fri/Sat. I%26#39;m glad to know that if we go early we don%26#39;t have to pay. Can%26#39;t wait to go!

Also, regarding Voo Doo Lounge, you can get VIP passes for 2 at this site. We used it last year, worked just fine.

Good to know about the tables being open early...

Anyone know the EXACT time the cover starts at The Mix?

Just called again...I tried another phone #....was told that the cover starts at 10pm

I have to put my vote in for Mix as well. By doing so I am not taking anything away from Voodoo Lounge, I%26#39;m sure it%26#39;s a wonderful place. It%26#39;s on our ';to do'; list for August.

As the other posters have said, there is no cover if you head up early. My wife and I went up sometime between 7 and 8 at night and pretty much shared the place with one other group. We sat out on the balcony and sipped drinks enjoying the view.

As for the view...beautiful. I would highly recommend visiting Mix.
