Vegas malls - eating / being?

hello,

I was just in vegas. and while there my GF and I would go through the malls. does anyone else get a depressed feeling when walking through the malls. mostly the Aladdin mall. very depressing. but also Caesars and Venetian.

we tried to avoid at all costs to not eat in the mall. with the fake outside looks. does anyone else do this? does it seem like it is more pleasent to eat in the casino resturants? such as mesa grill in Caesars? over lets say Spago or Chinois in the Caesars mall.

Not sure what you mean by a depressed feeling. I can%26#39;t imagine any woman who would be depressed walking through a mall!!!!!........especially the malls in Vegas with all their fancy and expensive shops!!!!! Guys on the other hand.......maybe would get depressed!!!

well, I am talking about the general look of them. kinda dark. and has that ';fake'; outside look to them.

also, do people like to eat in the casino resturants or the mall resturants? it just has a depressing look to the mall resturants.

wondering if others feel that way. maybe I am just crazy?

I would have to say that yeah, sometimes I do get depressed in the malls like Desert Passage, or Caesars, but it has little to do with the fake outdoors decor and a LOT to do with the prices. One time, my DH offered to buy me a lovely scarf at i elieve it was Armani, but alas, the price tag was in excess of $450.00. Needless to say, we exited the store and I was depressed because the scarf was left behind.

I am not a food court kind of person, and so never enjoy eating in that atmosphere.

I agree that the Desert Passage is somewhat gloomy, as is Caesars. They would do well to brighten it up with a little more artificial lighting.

Well gloomy or not when we arrive in Vegas @ 12 noon on the 5th sept. ,after dropping off our bags our first stop is Commanders Palace for some of those 25c martinis ,Wont look too gloomy after 4 of those babies.

Careful 1st timer, on my last trip following my liquid lunch, I went right to sleep. Wasted 6 good Vegas hours.

Have an evil plan to avoid that damana .read the high maintenance post.
