Gyms outside of the hotel/casino

Hey,

Does anyone know of any decent gyms that are not in the casinos? I found out that you have to pay $25/day to work out at the MGM even if you%26#39;re staying there. I was hoping that for that price there might be a much nicer gym somewhere in the city. I can%26#39;t imagine that the hotel gym at the MGM is worth $25/visit.

I worked out at a Gold%26#39;s Gym not to far from the strip. This was the biggest gym that I have ever been in. It was simply amazing with the size and amount of equipment that they had. Vegas also has several 24 hour Fitness locations as well(I have never been in one, but have seen them while driving about town) But it was a $10 one way cab ride. If you have a car I would go that route, but if you are relying on a cab it will cost you more overall. Depending on what you are looking for I find that most hotel gyms lack sufficient free weights and equipment. If you are just looking for cardio or some circuit machines it should meet your needs. Anymore if I can answer the bell, I鈥檒l just jog around up the and behind the strip.

Both of the Gold%26#39;s Gym%26#39;s in Vegas are awesome. If you belong to Gold%26#39;s at home, get a travel pass. Re: your hotel, a lot of them offer multi day or week discounts. Get a massage and the gym and facilities are included.

How much does it cost for a day pass to Gold%26#39;s Gym?

I%26#39;m a big fitness buff and I agree that the hotel gyms never have enough free weight equipment. I will have a car so the cab ride is not an issue.

Gold%26#39;s Gym on W Tropicana said their rates are $15 daily and $35 weekly. If you choose the weekly rates you can go to any one of them.

The Las Vegas Athletic Clubs said they charge $15 daily.

There is a 24 Hour Fitness Center at the airport. I think they charge $8-10 dollars. Their number is on the McCarran site.

When i was in vegas last year went to monte carlo gym it was great lots of weights and equipment has anyone been to the mgm gym please let me know
