Hi All! I was curious if the 1/2 Price Tix places are legitimate? I have heard that they sometimes have fake tickets. I would love to enjoy a 1/2 price show, but have always been scared. Is there any catches to these places? Thanks in advance for your help!
1/2 Price Tickets Places
They are legitimate. They are trying to get rid of unsold tickets on the afternoon of the show. The only catch is that you cannot be sure until you get there what will be available. You can be certain that you will not get tickets to the big name performers, just the shows that cannot sell out. I%26#39;ve used the one by the M%26amp;M store with no problem.
1/2 Price Tickets Places
There is (or was last May) a 1/2-price booth at one of the Fremont street entrances to the Four Queens Casino downtown.
The booths and small buildings are. The fellows hiding near the alleys selling speakers and tickets may not be. Last week there was a guy in the Hawaiian Gardens complex selling ';Celean Deon'; tickets, so they probably were fake.
Here is a list of the 1/2 price places:
Tickets2nite
At the coke bottle next to MGM
Tix4tonight-4 locations:
Hawaiian Marketplace at Polo Towers
Fashion show mall-near Neiman Marcus
Across from the Stardust
4 Queens downtown

You do not have to worry about buying tickets from any of them. Get there early. They don%26#39;t usually have A list shows. You can only buy tickets for that day%26#39;s performances.
We purchased 1/2 price Carrot Top tickets from the booth by the Hawaiian Marketplace. Totally legit. As other posters have mentioned, you won%26#39;t know the inventory until the day of. And you have to pay a small service fee. We printed out a coupon online and saved off of that. Totally worth it! Carrot Top was funny, but not $50/ticket funny, IMO.
I was in Vegas mid Feb %26amp; purchased a ticket at the downtown location. They told me that they were going to start opening that booth only at 10am %26amp; closing earlier that the others. Don%26#39;t know if that is happening now, but if you have time, it might be worth checking it out. If you buy a ticket, be sure to save the coupon or receipt they give you, you will save a few bucks if you buy something the next day.
