In checking the Venetian website for the week of June 20 - 27, they only show five different types of rooms that can be booked. What is the liklihood they are actually ';out'; of the other rooms?
How many rooms does a hotel usually ';reserve'; for upgrades, special requests, etcetera?
Just very curious as to the practices. Seems like a hotel like the Venetian would always ';hold back'; a few rooms for their own purposes.
Thanks!
Venetian Hotel Website QuestionI don%26#39;t know about the Venetian, but it seems like for most hotels, the better rooms cannot be reserved by website. There are some rooms that only go to high rollers but others can be reserved but only by phone. If you are interested in something more than what you see on the web, I would call them.
Venetian Hotel Website Questioni found the same thing with one of the other hotels websites i would just call the hotel it%26#39;s self to check what types of rooms are avaiable for those dates
It%26#39;s not likely at all. I have been watching the website for months and making and changing my booking as the rates change. I never book online, just use it for prices. Everytime I speak with an operator I ask about rooms that are not shown online and they have almost always had them.
I%26#39;m finally booked with them at a pre-paid summer rate so I can relax ith the price checking....Venezia here I come!!
Happy hunting.
Bottom line, if they are full they will bump you. It%26#39;ll be in their hotel up or down or into someone else%26#39;s hotel. Airlines and hotels are notorious for overbooking. If at all possible, speak to someone personally while booking and you shoud be fine.
