Has anyone heard of / been to the Sea Mountain Inn?

I am planning an anniversary trip for me and my husband and wanted to spend one day at a spa. I found a day spa online called Sea Mountain Inn. It is apparently for couples and single women only, and is clothing optional. That is all fine with me, but I haven%26#39;t been able to find any reviews online or any references that don%26#39;t send you right back to the main website. I%26#39;m a little unsure about dumping money into it without any opinions from people who have actually been there. Anyone heard of it...particularly the locals? It is apparently in a residential area off of Sahara. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, I might just go with the couples spa services at Paris....

If i were you, stick to the casino spa%26#39;s. Maybe a little more expensive, but cleaner and more reputable.

Thanks, Jackpot. It just looks so cool on the website (almost too good to be true). I%26#39;m just hoping someone has been there and can verify it is legitimate.

Ive never heard of this place. I just looked in the Yellow Pages, no listing, I can%26#39;t find it anywhere.

Most businesses on Sahara off the strip are pretty old and rundown. I would stick to the strip hotels.

Thanks for checking. I can%26#39;t find it anywhere either. I even checked the BBB. The website says it is a private spa that is frequented by celebrities, etc. so they keep it low profile. This might be true, but if I can%26#39;t verify anything about it, how am I supposed to trust that it isn%26#39;t a scam of some sort? I think I%26#39;m off to the Paris, but if anyone else knows anything about this place, please let me know.

vegassoon,

I think you%26#39;ll have to contact them by phone, found these for you.

I am planning to stay here but have similar questions as you do. We are staying two nights so thought that if it is not as nice as we think we can put up with anything for two nights. Have you been able to confirm with any of the publications that are recommending the Inn? I also do not think the address is 77 Casino Rd. I have the address they gave me but I do not want to share it online. I looks it up on a satalite photo and it is in a residential/commercial area just a few minutes from the strip. I am not concerned about the location. Regardless of the facility I think it%26#39;s going to be fun. Please respond.

All this ';secretive'; stuff about location, etc. is garbage. ';Give you a map after you book';? No thanks.

Guess what? ANYBODY can make up a great looking website.

This may be the greatest spa ever, but CAVEAT EMPTOR. You pay money upfront on this kind of a deal and you are a real gambler.

Baseball2: I decided against it after being unable to verify anything from an independent source. I tried to do online searches through the magazines referenced and found nothing. I did the satellite photo thing too with the address they give you after booking. Cancelled my reservation because I just wasn%26#39;t sure, and want to make our anniversary date special. I booked the Paris for Lovers special at the Paris Spa instead. When are you planning to go? If you do stay there, please post on it because it looks like a great place if it is for real.

Vegassoon, We%26#39;re planning to be there soon and will post following our visit. Hope your trip to the Paris Resort goes well.

My wife and I went to the Sea Mountain Spa about a month ago. We too were a little skeptical about the place since there were no reviews and it had just opened up for business. The web site makes it look like the most awarded five star spa in the world. We were planning a day visit with the couples massage. When we arrived we were a little surprised to see that it was basically some ones house in a residential area. We were a little disapointed and nervous at first but as the hostess showed us around the property we became more comfortable with the place and actually had a real good time. Keep in mind that this is basically someones large house that was turned into a bed and breakfast. The food was good and there was plenty to drink and the massages were great. There was only one other couple there so we basically had the whole place to ourselves. The atmosphere was fun but probably would have been better if there were more people there. All the things that they promise on thier web site is there but the terms ';awarded'; and ';5 star'; is a little exagerated. The whole house is clothing optional with the pool area being nude only. It was very relaxing and we will go there again. If you go I think you will have a great time but keep in mind that the web site is a little ambitious for what it really is.
