Will be staying at Bally%26#39;s next week and have a question about the rooms. I know most everyone recommends the North Tower, but aside from being in need of updating, is there anything terribly wrong with South Tower rooms?
Also, for anyone that has stayed there, would you recommend asking for a room on a specific floor?
Thank you

I%26#39;m staying there next week too, and am eager to hear the responses.
Bally Rooms
We%26#39;re there next week too - from sunday, so we%26#39;d be interested in all replies
Don%26#39;t guess we%26#39;re getting any replies... From what I%26#39;ve read so far on many travel review sites is that there%26#39;s nothing ';really'; wrong with the South Tower, just very outdated furniture. But, you do get the best views of Paris and the Strip from the South Tower. Me personally, I%26#39;m going for the North Tower and the nicer rooms.
See ya Monday!
check out the pictures on this website, they are pretty telling.
but other than needing updating (and new furniture and clean linens) they are fine.
tom
My husband and I stayed in Bally%26#39;s last year and well be staying again this year.
Hotel: Very friendly staff. Connected to Paris. This is great two hotels in one. This isn%26#39;t a 5 star hotel so don%26#39;t expect to see 5 star quality. But it is a very very nice hotel. Wait staff was good also.
Room: We had a suite in the south tower. Boy was it nice. The room was large. With his/hers sinks. A large Jacuzzi, the shower was bid enough for four people, with a private toilet. The best was the view. I%26#39;ve heard you can%26#39;t get a view like this in the north tower rooms. The room was a bit dated, but not distasteful. I would recommend the south tower again.
I wanted to stay in the M.G.M this year because of the vibe there. More livelier (IMO). But since we got most of our stay comed we choose Bally%26#39;s again. Hope this helped.
tom,
I just want to reiterate that I had a suite if you%26#39;re going to stay in the south tower. I don%26#39;t remember the floor exactly.
Reeceeg,
Thank you for the info. I am leaning towards South Tower for the view. This is my first stay at Bally%26#39;s and am not familiar with room and floor layout. Would you know how high of a floor I should ask for in order to get a decent view?
Thanks
Ooops! Sorry type to slow.
tom I wanna say we stayed on the 16th floor. But i do think that all the suites were on a higher floor.
I%26#39;ve stayed in the south tower a couple of times. While the rooms were more dated than those in the north tower I didn%26#39;t think they were bad at all and they were definitely clean. In fact, I once was put in a south tower room for my first night (after asking for a new room and being told I could choose between a smoking room or a ';loud'; south tower room and that they%26#39;ve move me the next day.) I actually liked a few things about the room be did opt to move because it was right next to an elevator and the sound was bothersome. When we moveed to the new room I missed the better view, the makeup area outside of the bathroom and the refridgerator I%26#39;d had to give up, but we were able to sleep so it was worthwhile.
NOTE: I can%26#39;t guarantee that all of the rooms in that tower will have built in fridges, but I%26#39;ve seen them a couple of times.
I wouldn%26#39;t worry about those rooms too much. And as usual, it%26#39;s almost always best to ask for a room on a higher floor. It%26#39;s good to be removed from the street noise a bit and the views are usually pretty decent that way.
