1/2-price Show Tickets

Wow, I feel like a newbie asking this question, but can anyone who has visited the Coke bottle (or any other 1/2 price ticket outlet) recently provide the skinny on which shows are being offered these days? I%26#39;m considering buying the coupon book offering 2-4-1 show tickets, but I thought that I%26#39;d see if I can get the same shows 1/2 price first.

To be slightly more specific, do they often get tickets to second-tier shows like, say, Jubilee, Danny Gans and Lance Burton (is Zumanity second-tier yet?), or is it strictly the realm of Rick Thomas, Buck Wild and Hypnolarious?

1/2-price Show Tickets

We just got back last night and got tickets to 2 shows there. Hypnolarious and Carrot Top. They had Rita Rudner and some other name bigger names but no really big ones like Celine or any of the Cirque shows. Carrot top was excellent, did not care for the opening guy but CT made up for it.

I was there 2 weeks ago.These are the ones I can remember.

The wife and I went to see George Wallace.He was hilarious.

I highly recommend this show.

If you go down by the Fashion show and also in front of the polo towers there is one where they have a lot more shows, we saw Mystere the other night we got our tickets 20 dollars cheaper and they also had zumanity. These are both very good cirque shows

The Half Price Tickets

First, there are two main half price tickets vendors. They are Tickets2Nite and Tix4Tonite. Both vendors open at noon daily, and close around 9pm, depending on when the last show starts that they are selling tickets for. They sell half price tickets for day of the show ONLY. And Tix4Tonite also sells discounted (not 50%) tickets for some of the major shows. These are listed below,

Tix4Tonite has several locations on the strip. They are:

south strip. Next to the Harley Davidson Cafe on the corner of Harmon and LV Blvd.

Fashion Show Mall. The entrance is located right off the street near Neiman Marcus

Okay, so what shows do they offer?

Well as you know ticket inventory changes on a daily basis. You are never 100% sure of what they will have. I have done an inventory sampling over a two month period and the shows listed below show up rather frequently, if not always. Again, just because a show is listed below does not guarantee that it will be available on the day that you want to purchase tickets for it. If there is a show that you definitely want to see, please buy your tickets in advance from the box office of that particular venue.

Also, the tickets for these shows usually do not become available until after 4pm. So you may have to check back several times throughout the day to see if new inventory has become available.

Shows you will not find discounted:

As of right now, the Mandalay resort properties does not participate in the discounted ticket program. That may change with the new merger. As of right now you will NOT find the following shows available:

Thunder From Down Under

Midnight Fantasy

Also the Tropicana does not participate as well, so these shows are also not available, but there are discounted coupons readily available.

Was able to get half price tix for Mamma Mia at Tix4Tonight in April. Good seats, good show.

there are coupons on the net for some 241 shows.

anyone know if it%26#39;s better to go to the show with coupon and buy tickets OR buy tickets from the half-price places so you have the ticket when you go? avoids the line at the show?
