going to las vegas in nov %26#39;06 for weeks, was planning to book the aladdin. but, what is the story about the aladdin being renovated to become planet hollywood? will it no longer be the aladdin? what is this hotel like? what about the work being done on it? any info would help before i book, or maybe not book.

We wanted to book a week here in september but on the website it still is very expensive.

I%26#39;ve looked at some other sites and it is not a lot cheaper. I%26#39;ve been reading on here of people getting really good rates. How can I get a better rate than on the official website?

they have promo codes. people will post them. when they are available. sometimes you see posting titles like: ';June Deals';

and people will post in there.

i am staying at the aladdin over memorial day. for 49 a night. but the rooms go fast. i found it on a tuesday. booked wed. and i think by friday memorial day promo rates are gone.

please don%26#39;t post asking for them.

when people have them they will post.

You can check fatwallet.com for promo codes. Just do a search for hotel promo codes once you are on the site. If any are to be had, then this site will list them. That is where I found Aladdin%26#39;s $49 a night for my Vegas trip last week. Check back there often, because people post the deals daily. Good luck.

re the September rates, for a deluxe room (standard) Aladdin%26#39;s site says $99 (USA) for Monday, Sept, 4, up to $109 by Thursday. the next Monday, Sept. 11, is $209 and $299 by Thursday. there are big conventions in Vegas that week. so the price depends on when you%26#39;re going. I doubt you%26#39;ll find a cheap rate for those dates.

jmci9, you could email the hotel and ask about the renovation dates. I understand it won%26#39;t be the Aladdin. from their net site http://www.aladdincasino.com/index.html click on contact us. there%26#39;s an email address for reservations.
