This will be my husband and I first time to Vegas, I really don%26#39;t know what hotel to book. I have looked all over the internet and kind of getting buggy eyed from reading so much, I was just wanting to find a hotel that was nice and clean and I know that we should stay on the strip, we don%26#39;t want to spend a fortune , but I know that you do get what you pay for, someting like maybe 3 or 4 stars would be just fine, nice pool and stuff like that, any infor would be reaaly appreciated, thanks
Coming to Vegas
The Strip is highly recommended with this being your first time to Vegas, especially one with a casino. A few inexpensive hotels to look at:
(in no special order):
1. Excalibur Hotel Casino %26amp; Resort - Deluxe Room
2. Tropicana Hotel Casino %26amp; Resort- Paradise Room
3. Riviera Hotel and Casino - Deluxe room
4. Stardust Hotel %26amp; Casino - Tower rooms
5. The Orleans (off Strip)
6. Imperial Palace
Coming to Vegas
ORLEANS is a place to start.
Quiet, laid back scene. Away from noise of the strip
Excellent pool facility.
FREE shuttle to the strip.
thanks for infor, will look into the Excalibur it does look really nice
Orleans is nice as ststed above...be careful Excaliber can be Circus circus west with all the kids. Huge crowds too.
Harrahs is the best expecially if it is your first time. It is centre strip perfect location and excellent customer service.
oops...I was gonna say stay away from Excal unless you like smoke and LOTS of kids. If so, have a ball. If not, can you please tell us what ';don%26#39;t want to spend a fortune'; means? That could mean anything from you don%26#39;t want to spend more than $49 a night to $199 a night. Just a little more info would be good.
You say 3 or 4 stars. Mirage is (I think...could be wrong!) 4 star, and they have a promo going on right now. Try SUMGST and see if you get something within your price range. REALLY nice hotel, in excellent location.
Harrah%26#39;s great location too.
Whatever you do....have a WONDERFUL time and WIN BIG!!!! :)
If you want the strip and some noce accomodations, I recommend,
Paris
Ballys
Flamingo
Harrah%26#39;s
Monte Carlo
All are center strip
If you want to go a bit more budget, then try, Luxor, Imperial Palace, Riviera...
How is Monte Carlo center strip? We stayed there several years ago, knowing it was NOT center strip.
I%26#39;m not trying to be rude, but I%26#39;m wondering what exactly IS considered center strip?
Ok, so Monte Carlo is a bit south of Center Strip. Jeez...take it easy...
I would recommend the Flamingo. Good prices, great location, you are literally smack in the middle of the strip.
When are you coming? What is your budget?
