Tickets to Celine at 8:30. Looking for the best restaurant at Caesar%26#39;s for dinner before (or after) the show. Expense not a factor. Looking for the best combo of great food, ambiance and service. Thanks.
Dinner before Celine show?I suggest eating after the show as there%26#39;s every chance Celine%26#39;s performance will induce vomiting.
Dinner before Celine show?I went, and I didn%26#39;t vomit.
We ate at Spago and it was very good and relatively inexpensive. We didn%26#39;t have reservations so we were stuck at the bar. I suggest wherever you eat, you get a reservation.
Funny Blagger! Wife is making me go so trying to make best of the situation with a good meal. Based on your comment I will also include heavy drinking. BUT, still need restaurant recs. DELIVER! Thanks.
Beat me to it Blagger. I just heard the clip of her from during Katrina where she was saying to let the looters loot because, ';They just want to touch the bigscreen TVs! I want to buy those people Cadillacs!'; Too funny.
Ok I%26#39;ve got my serious hat on now. Bradley Ogden (chic western US food) and 808 (Pacific Rim/fusion) are both great (and expensive) restaurants. For ambience you won%26#39;t get better then Terrazza which overlooks the pool area, but it probably falls just short of the top level of Italian places in town.
In the Forum Shops you have Palm (perfectly acceptable steak house) and the wonderful Joe%26#39;s Stone Crab (pricey but super fresh sea food) amongst a lot of fine eating places.
Thanks. Have you heard anything good or bad about the new Guy Savoy restaurant at Caesar%26#39;s? What about Mesa Grill?
Mesa is great but you will need reservations. It is right across from the show.
Everytime I see this question I give the same answer: Consider having a meal somewhere other than at Caesars before Celine. Just keep in mind that you will be 2(?) people out of about 3,000 that are all going to be trying to eat at the same time in the same place.
Irish Fan, not if some of them listen to you!
