IP: can you get a good room? (outdoor hot tub question)

with harrah%26#39;s raising room rates, i can no longer afford flamingo.

we%26#39;ve grown used to the view of the strip. we only sleep 4-5 hours a day and some times it%26#39;s nice to decompress and enjoy the view, even if you%26#39;re too jacked to sleep.

can a good view be had at IP?

has anyone tried the hot tub out by the pool? coming from the great lakes, we enjoy the jacuzzi even in autumn.

IP has beautiful view of Caesars across the street.

IP is SQUEEZED between Flamingo and Harrahs, no good views.

Cheap rooms if thats what you are requiring.

anyone ever use the hot-tub?

Besides being in a great location, I think the IP is the creepiest place on the strip. Of course, that%26#39;s my opinion.

Have you ever considered staying at the Barbary Coast? The rooms are bigger, nicer, and have great strip views VS the IP.

Yeah, you%26#39;re right about Barbary Coast not having a pool. Perhaps someone on this forum can get you into the Flamingo pool.

happytails, yep there is a hot tub at the IP, next to the pool.

BUT, my jacuzzi tub in my bathroom is nicer. Very very basic.

Plus the place is a dump.

I guess everyone%26#39;s opinions differ on what is a dump and what is acceptable. My husband and I along with some friends have stayed at the IP several times over the past 8 years. We have always found it to be clean, the service great and the casino fun. We have stayed in standard rooms, luv tub rooms and a king suite. All the rooms were clean, and they all had balconies. The pool is nothing like you would find at the Flamingo, Caesars, Venetian or Bellagio. But, you are also not paying exhorbitant prices either. I will stay at the IP again, I had fun there, I was treated very well there too. I suggest that you give it a try and not go by what others say, they obviously have a higher set of standards than the rest of us poor saps.
