Just spent six nites at the Monte Carlo....
Saw Rita Rudner @ NYNY...
Didn%26#39;t do much fine dining so can%26#39;t answer too many questions there...
Spent a lot of time walking hotel to hotel on the strip...
(also I am a runner so I ran the strip, too)
Shopped @ the Forum shops and Alladin%26#39;s Desert Passage...
Used the monorail etc...
Anyhoooo I would be happy to try to answer any questions bout the above or other stuff....this was my second trip in a year and seventh or eigth visit....it doesn%26#39;t make me an expert but I know what I saw and did....
Just returned...any questions?
We are checking into Monte Carlo tomorrow night. Were you satisfied with the room? Did you eat at any of the MC restaurants? Did you play any blackjack there or anywhere nearby?
Thanks
Just returned...any questions?
I liked the MC rooms....bathrooms were nice and large...good housekeeping service, very comfortable beds.
Try to get a higher floor for a better view.
I ate at the brew-pub and liked the food there burgers, wings, sandwiches etc...very good micro-brews...also quite busy most of the time.
They also have a food court...McD%26#39;s, Starbucks, Nathan%26#39;s, Haagen Das....McD%26#39;s and Starbuck had very long lines each morning for breakfast/coffee.
Did not play BJ...I did notice the lowest limit tables were $5 during the day with some $10 %26amp; $25...then lowest minimums at night were $10
Be aware if you are using the pool the line forms just before 9:00 and a lot of the good (full sun) spots are taken right away...after 10:00 it sometimes difficult to even get more than one towel pp...if anything there could be improved upon it would be the pool area...too many lounges jammed in everywhere and not enough towels...(minor complaint)
Have a great time.
