longtime no speak?
Hi nicesheffielder, good to see you again. I know that the Greek Islands can get very hot this time of year! We were in Cyprus the last week of April and early May, ususally very hot then, but we were lucky, the weather was wonderful.
Tell me about World Cup and football, my husband is consumed by it!!! Of course, being an Englishman, football is all he%26#39;s ever gotten excited about, a Tottenham fan!
longtime no speak?
Glad to have you back and on the mend. Hope you make it back to Vegas soon.
I am so jealous. Greece/Islands- my all time favorite place(s) in the world. That raki-ouzo can really do you in!! How I miss those mezes!

Wahts up shef? Glad to hear you are on the mend, but why not the 3am walk thru one of the finest neighborhoods in all of Las Vegas?
You can do it dude, just leave the lady back at the hotel ';in case'; someone needs to cash in your life insurance policy.
BTW, pretty much NOBODY in the U.S. gives a ratsasss about that little soccer tournament, err riot inducing kickball game that is going on. Sorry about that...
UP the Euros!!!
Actually Steve, soccer or football as the rest of the world calls it is becoming increasingly popular in the US. On Sat ABC showed several matches and the others are shown on ESPN so someone must be watching and th advertisers are buying spots to peddle their products. World Cup is just that, it encompasses the world. North American brand of football does not do that, baseball certainly doesn%26#39;t, the closest we come is hoops.
Btw, there is a huge world outside the confines of North America and guess what and this did surprise me when I first figured it out. The USA is not the be all to end all nor is it all that well thought of as we might think. We need to start seeing the big picture.
thank you, Carlos Gamarra
Ha!! I wonder how many are going to have to google just to find out who he is!!
I wonder how many (guarani PYG) he had on England to win 1-0
I dunno, shef, I don%26#39;t think every opponent of England will be kind enough to kick one into their own net like Paraguay did yesterday. Or head one in, to be precise.
Best of luck, though, and good to hear you%26#39;re almost in shape for Vegas, Part II.

So WAht? Doesn%26#39;t mean I have to pay attention to it.
';The USA is not the be all to end all';
Oh YES It IS...
';nor is it all that well thought of as we might think.';
Who the hell cares how ';we are thought of'; by ANYONE outside this country?
';We need to start seeing the big picture.';
Sorry, I%26#39;m an AMERICAN, not a Globalist. This country is a big enough ';picture'; for me.
USA, USA, USA...
(And Canada and Mexico are fine, too..)
Hi Sheff and ';up the blades'; !!!!
You provided good natured entertainment here for a long time. You were a good sport. Welcome back and I am sorry to hear you were hurt at work.
