Can soemone tell me the correct attire to wear to Mesa Grill for dinner. Ihave read it is casual but that can be a lot of things. It is going to be 110 while we are out there so I would love to wear dress shorts. But if I have to wear pants and a short sleave top I will. Thanks in advance.
Mesa Grill? It may be 110 outside but inside it is cool. You would probably be cold in the shorts. However, if you want to wear them, If they are nice looking, you would be fine. We ate lunch there and I had on casual pants and a top. Nothing dessy.
If you are comfortable dressing casual, it doesn%26#39;t matter what others think. It is not that dressy a restaurant
Mesa Grill?i was there over memorial weekend.
pretty empty. we walked in at 9PM and got seated in a few min.
i wore jeans and a polo shirt.don%26#39;t forget the casinos are cold.
my GF wore a summer skirt.
save room for dessert. it was great. even though the waiter told us bobby flay does not make the desserts. and suggested we get an appetizer instead of a dessert. (we are not huge eaters). but the dessert was the best!
Does Bobby Flay even do the cooking there, or is is one of his underling sou chefs???? Just curious........
2-fer
:o)
';Does Bobby Flay even do the cooking there?';
You are kidding right? He has 4 restuarants from NY to LV and cooks daily in all of them Just like Emeril cooks daily in his 9 resturants.
He may not cook there but he blew through when we were having lunch. It doesn%26#39;t matter who is doing the cooking, the food was great.
Damama-- Would you mind telling me how your food was and how well you liked the restaurant? I ate at Bobby Flay owned Bar Americain in NYC last month and it was one of the best meals I have ever had. I am having a hard time trying to decide between Mesa Grill, MAG, and Olives. anyone have an opinion?
We had a delicious lunch. I can%26#39;t remember (never can) what I ate but it was a ';signature'; sandwich. The appetizers were delicious too.
I have also eaten at Mesa in NYC but that was dinner and it%26#39;s hard to compare. The dinner menu in LV looks delicious and we will try it on our next trip.
We did have difficulty getting dinner reservations but lunch wasn%26#39;t a problem the day before.
No problems getting reservations for me either. Dress as you like (as VHB says ';All you need in Vegas is a wallet stuffed full of cash.';) and the food is great.
well mesa grill will be the least expensive of the three choices:
Mesa Grill, MAG, and Olives
Olives will be like twice the price. MAG will be three times the price.
MAG will be the best choice. by far. much better food.
We keep saying we will go to olives. But we go and look at the menu. and are like, nah! not worth it. last year we changed olives for the Bellagio buffet. definitely the right choice. this year we switched mesa grill for it. also the right choice.
Thanks for the opinions and information. I think we will probably end up going to MAG. It will be my husband%26#39;s 76 year old uncle, husband and me. They don%26#39;t care much what they eat, but I love great dining. I think the uncle would probably prefer the more relaxed atmosphere at MAG also. I will probably have my Mesa Grill lunch on my shopping day alone.
