Airport Transfer?

I am heading to Las Vegas and need an airport transfer there and back. However, I am not crazy about waiting for a cab. Does anyone have any suggestions about possibly a sedan service that I could use instead? If so, how much could I expect to pay for this and from what company?

Airport Transfer?

Cab wait is normally not bad. If there is a line, $20 to the sky cab will get you the very next cab, guaranteed.

I know that didn%26#39;t answer your question. I don%26#39;t have any experience with sedans or shuttles in LV.

Get a casino host to arrange for your airport transers.

This site will give you some idea of what is available at the airport:

http://www.mccarran.com/03_shuttles_01.asp

It says ';shuttles'; but it also lists limos and sedans.

The cab ride is always quick and easy, you are unlikely to do better than just grabbing cabs

Thanks for the information! I was just a little unclear, on what a sky cab was? This sounds like a possible option.

Even waiting in line for a cab isn%26#39;t bad. It sort of gets you in the mood for the vacation, looking at everyone else, wondering what their ';story'; is. I would save the ';tip'; for the skycap just to get to your hotel 20 minutes sooner.

As far as leaving your hotel, we have found that we don%26#39;t have to wait in line for the cabs if our luggage is with the bell captain. They just get us a cab on the side.

you could always book a limo company to pick you up at the airport. The shuttle wait is worse than the cab wait. Then for the shuttle it always seems that we%26#39;re the last ones dropped off.

I always take a taxi and have never had to wait but a quick minute at most. I think they are a lot faster than the shuttles which I refuse to take any longer. They take FOREVER!

I%26#39;ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes or so to catch a cab from the airport. Except for March madness.... and that was just insanity. If you are staying at a large hotel you shouldn%26#39;t have any trouble with catching a quick cab back.

The last time I flew into Las Vegas we took the shuttle bus to our hotel because we have had good luck in our past visits. We were on the bus for over an hour as we were the last ones off and we were at The Monte Carlo, which is close to the airport. We will be taking a taxi this time. A cab is $12.00 and with 2 couples paying $10.00, the same as the shuttle would be, we will be much happier.
