Any deals at the Orleans in August?

Good afternoon!

My husband and I are travelling to the States for the first time this summer and are hoping to spend 3-4 nights at the Orleans in Vegas. Room prices seem to double over the weekend.

Can you advise if there are any ways of getting rates cheaper than those advertised on their website ($140 for a Saturday night, I think.)

I would think you would be hard pressed to find any w/e deals at any hotel. They want to draw people in on weekdays.

My suggestion is to search the Internet for the lowest price. Orleans will match + 5% extra off if they can go online %26amp; see it. I did this for my trip last week. Orleans was charging $50 but Travelworm had it for $35. I called Orleans %26amp; they did honor.

Just go on your search engine %26amp; type in something to the effect '; Las Vegas discount rooms'; . I have used Travelocity, Travelworm, A2Zvegas.

I did want to say I really like the Orleans, I had always stayed at Paris in the past (and I do love the Paris) but the prices were too high when I was going. I%26#39;ve stayed at Orleans 2 times. Request a renovated room, next to elevators with a strip view. I did for my trip last week %26amp; got it.

The only drawback is that it is a good 1 mile from the strip. I had transportation while I was there but did use the shuttle once. There were about 30 people waiting %26amp; the driver only had room for 7. I luckily got on but I wouldn%26#39;t rely on the shuttle.
