We%26#39;re going to Vegas July 4-8. I don%26#39;t usually care about the pool, but this time we thought it would be nice to have a pool to relax in mid-day (like late-morning or late afternoon.) We can stay in the Mirage for ony about $100 more than the Flamingo over 4 nights. However, I%26#39;m concerned about what I read here that the pools are so crowded that if one doesn%26#39;t get there by 9 AM (or earlier), one can never get a chair, too crowded, etc. (There%26#39;s no way we%26#39;ll be at the pool that early.) Is there any difference in this regard between the Flamingo and the Mirage? Will it be that bad when we are going, i.e. mid-week in July? Any insight will be appreciated.
crowded pool question; Flamingo vs.MirageBoth these pools are plagued with ';chair savers';...Our solution, take whatever chair you want that does not have a body in it. A towel and a free magazine on a chair doesen%26#39;t keep me from taking it....enjoy your trip and don%26#39;t be intimidated by the morons....
crowded pool question; Flamingo vs.MirageI can%26#39;t speak for Mirage, I did just get back from Flamingo and will be there in July again, the pool is crowded at times, but not awful, often people have stuff on a chair but if you ask if it%26#39;s occupied it%26#39;s not and you can move them around. We%26#39;ve never not gotten a chair at the Flamingo.
