Help needed with Honeymoon from Vegas to Grand Canyon to...

I will be getting married in October of this year and I%26#39;m having a bit of trouble with travel plans for what we want to do. The original plan was to fly from Boston to Vegas and spend 2 nights in Vegas, then rent a car and spend a night at the Grand Canyon, then drive to Sedona for the final 3 nights. We haven%26#39;t decided on where to stay in Vegas yet, the Canyon doesn%26#39;t really matter as far as a cheap hotel, and we were looking at Casa Sedona or the Kokopelli Inn and then fly out of Phoenix back to Boston. Here%26#39;s the real issue with renting a car we are going to get hit up with an additional $200 in taxes and fees, mostly 125 for dropping the car off at a separate location. I haven%26#39;t been able to find any other one-way transportation services. Or should I just drive back from Sedona to Vegas to fly out of Vegas rather than Phoenix? I%26#39;d like to avoid the additional driving on my last day but might have to. Any suggests are greatly appreciated.

Change plans so you can fly both in and out from vegas, rent the car for a weekly rate,

like, drive from Sedona back to near Vegas or in Vegas for the final night,

then fly back from/return car in Vegas...you will save not only on the car, but the flight. Different drop-off sites for cars have HUGE penalties. 2 1-way flights are more than round trip
