I am so ANXIOUS to book our next trip!!!!

We were in Vegas about 3 weeks ago and I am already ready to book our next trip. I keep looking at the calendar trying to figure out when we will both be able to take more time off- I also have to consider my coworkers vacation schedules as we all can%26#39;t be off at the same time.

Last year I was lucky enough to have3 trips out with 2 trips booked within 2 months and it made coming home from Vegas ';not so depressing'; knowing I would be returning soon.

I was hoping to return in Sept but it is not looking too promising right now so perhaps Oct or the first week of Nov- the only thing is that SW isn%26#39;t booking into Nov yet and we have one free flight earned- only I will be paying for air- then the following trip I will have a free flight earned.

I just would like to have it booked so I can look forward to it - our hotel stay is not a problem as all I need to do is call my host and tell him when and for how many nights- he puts us on the calendar and we are comped for our stay.

Anyone else just waiting until they can firm up their plans??

I am so ANXIOUS to book our next trip!!!!

Well, I am trying to get my plans for a trip at the end of October. For 4 nights. But still trying to find a flight down there, Last time I went with Sunquest which flew with Air Transat, but sunquest does not do vegas anymore. So still do not know which company to use from here in toronto.

I am so ANXIOUS to book our next trip!!!!

We%26#39;re leaving on Tuesday and I%26#39;m already bummed knowing how fast it%26#39;s going to go by!!! good idea planning another one before the first trip is over! I like it!

We were last there in Feb. and I was desperate to find another date to return. Just last week my husband said we could book the trip in Oct. So, now I have the hotel (Oct. 8-13) and the flight booked and he is telling me there may be a problem with scheduling conflicts at work. I am freaking! If I have to cancel or reschedule my trip, I will not be a happy camper. We don%26#39;t want to go earlier, because of the hot weather and I have 2 granddaughters expecting their first child between Oct. 25 and Nov. 6, so I don%26#39;t want to schedule it in that time frame. I don%26#39;t want to wait till the middle or end of Nov. I feel like a spoiled kid and want to stomp my foot and say, ';I want to go when I want to go!'; I%26#39;m sure we will work it out, but it is so frustrating. Meanwhile, we will go to Tunica, MS, in two weeks to get our gambling ';patch'; to help us through the Las Vegas withdrawal DT%26#39;s.

I%26#39;ve got the Vegas withdrawls too. I am planning to book our annual trip for Dec. I just came back back June 2. I am waiting until August to see if I get any email offers. I just got a mail offer from the Wynn, 119.00 a night M-Th through Sept. I was shocked because I signed up for the players card and maybe gambled 20.00 there. I am hoping another offer will come out for Dec.

Where do you stay in Tunica? We have never been, but just check some rates and with my Rewards Card I can get the Sheraton for 49.00 a night through the week. We are thinking of visiting there in July to get our fix before Vegas in December.

Me, too! Was just there 5/29 to 6/3...would like to go in October with my husband and 83-year old Dad...prices through vegas.com aren%26#39;t bad...but DH%26#39;s truck just needed a lot of work...bills, bills, bills...keeping an eye on the prices and airfare...we%26#39;ll see!

Sue, we%26#39;ve stayed at Sam%26#39;s Town (first trip) several years, ago. It was fine then, but can%26#39;t speak for rooms today. Stayed at Bally%26#39;s once and Fitzgerald%26#39;s once, and once was enough for me at both places. I am not a hotel snob by any means, but I did not enjoy the room at either hotel. We%26#39;ve stayed at Gold Strike, which has more of an LV feel to it than most and its hotel (and Fitz%26#39;s) is attached to the casino. Our hotel of choice, however, is the Grand and that is where we have stayed most often. We%26#39;ve stayed in their Terrace and Veranda Hotels and found both to be spacious, attractive and comfortable. The only draw back is the hotels are not attached to the casino. You have to drive or take a shuttle across the highway to the casino. Of course, that%26#39;s probably better for my pocket book, since it takes more of an effort to get from my room to the slots. LOL! It isn%26#39;t Vegas (and I haven%26#39;t been to Atlantic City), but it is the next best thing for us. There are 9 casinos spread out over the countryside (short driving distance). Three of them are totally separate from the others and there are 2 groups of 3 in close proximity to each other. If you are there on a weekend, you have a chance of catching some headliner perform, but very little in line of entertainment during the week. If you only want to get away, relax and not have to worry about cooking for yourself and indulge in (what I go for) some gambling, you can%26#39;t go wrong with Tunica. TA has a Tunica Forum that is not very active. I%26#39;ve seen some of our LV regulars on there. Oh, BTW, we only play the slots, so don%26#39;t have any info on table games.

Thanks LVescape for the info. I am still in the planning stages and have visited the Tunica forum and as you said not very active! I have to get hubby in gear and make some decisions. If it was all up to me we%26#39;d be booked and ready to go! Good luck to you!
