I am looking to order a cake for my anniversary and have it delivered to my room. I am staying at the Flamingo and looking for a bakery that is close by. I got a price from Freed%26#39;s and it was more than what I am wanting to spend.($80-$95 for a 2 person cake, plus delivery charge of $35) Please help.

Have you tried Albertsons? They are all over town and will be far cheaper than Freeds

Albertson%26#39;s is a great idea. They%26#39;re affiliated with Jewel food stores here in Chicago, and the cakes from their bakery are always good. Why pay through the nose for what%26#39;s really just flour, eggs, and sugar?
You might want to try Diamond Bakery in Chinatown which has all kinds of delicious cakes, but I%26#39;m not sure about the prices for anything custom-made or for delivery. If their prices are outrageous, Albertson%26#39;s is definitely the way to go. That%26#39;s the only grocery store where flavors actually taste like flavors and not like a different-colored version of a cardboard box.
My cousin got a cake through the Rio for her wedding there and it was awesome.
Thanks everyone. Is Albertson%26#39;s close to the Flamingo?
