My husband and I will be visiting Las Vegas Oct. 3-6 to celebrate our anniversary. We are booked at The Signature. First I would like to know about the hotel. Second I would like some insight into some restaurants where we could celebrate our anniversary. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
Please help!
the hotel%26#39;s net site
http://www.signaturemgmgrand.com/
trip advisor search (where you see the search bar on your left and towards the top) shows 1 review for the signature, since it recently opened.
as for restaurants, if you post with your question as the topic, such as ';need advice on restaurants for an anniversary dinner'; you%26#39;ll get some response. also it%26#39;s helpful to give a price range of what you want to pay.
hope you have a great trip and a happy anniversary!
Please help!
I realize what the web site is, I have visited it. Also I viewed the one review of the Hotel. I wanted a little more info than that review offered. The reason I did not put a price range is because I do not have one.
Norasc.....I can%26#39;t help you with the hotel question, sorry. But, probably the most romantic dinner we have had in Vegas was at the Eifel Tower Restaurant at Paris. The service was superb and the food was fantastic. Pricey but worth it for our anniversary. They knew that it was our anniversary. If I remember correctly, they asked when we were seated if we were celebrating a special occasion. The chef wrote ';Happy Anniversary'; on the rim of our dessert plates with raspberry glaze. Have a great trip!!
I%26#39;m not sure, but wasn%26#39;t this set up to be a time share? Anyway, expect at least a mild sales pitch in that direction at some point during your visit. They%26#39;re supposedly very nice rooms with dual plasma TVs, wireless internet, and mini kitchens. You can use the MGM facilities (pool, etc.) as well as using the Signature%26#39;s own pool and gym. Expect them to add at least twenty bucks to your bill per day that they%26#39;ll call a resort fee. It covers gym admission, newspaper service, and a nifty bottle of water! I think it%26#39;s a bit of a rip-off. If you%26#39;re paying two bills a night, the gym and wireless internet ought to get thrown in.
The location looks to be less than ideal, though not bad. It%26#39;s set back off the strip, so in true MGM Grand tradition, be prepared to walk a little bit to get where you%26#39;re going.
So in short, great rooms, great amenities, high price, okay location. I should add that I%26#39;ve never been there. I just got all this from reading stuff on the web.
As far as restaurants, I%26#39;m a Commander%26#39;s Palace fan, if you don%26#39;t mind eating in a glorified strip mall. Hugo%26#39;s Cellar is supposed to be nice as well. If you%26#39;re mad at each other, try the buffet at Circus Circus.
Frommer%26#39;s Las Vegas 2006 has great restaurant reviews in all price ranges and is pretty inexpensive on amazon. My husband and I enjoyed Delmonico in The Venetian. It was dimly lit with soft music and great food. Try the prix fixe menu and you can try a variety of the food in I think it was 5 or 6 small courses, and they will pair a wine with each if you ask them too. Enjoy
Hi, we ate at Le Cirque at Bellagio. It was wonderful. My husband doesn%26#39;t usually rave about food much (just not his big interest) and he still talks about the food. Beautiful place, great service but very, very pricy.
Have fun!!

Les Aristes steakhouse in The Paris was very good when we ate there, but we felt like it was more expensive than it was worth. We%26#39;ve celebrated our anniversary in Las Vegas twice %26amp; both times have eaten at the VooDoo Cafe on top of the Rio.We%26#39;re going again next month! That%26#39;s our place for a romantic Vegas dinner.
Lovely atmosphere, great service, bautiful view of the strip, and REALLY good food.
Plus you can go upstairs to the top floor lounge after dinner, if you want to have a drink and enjoy the lights, and there%26#39;s no cover for restaurant patrons.
Here%26#39;s a link to the menu!

For a romantic dinner you really must try Top of the World restaurant at the Stratosphere. The view is amazing, the food is delicious and we always have great service. It is pretty expensive though but completly worth it in my opinion. If you do go, book your reservation for right before the sun sets, it%26#39;s truely breathtaking watching the sun set over the mountains and strip.
norasc, my wife and I are celebrating our anniversary this coming Tuesday at Blackstones Steakhouse at Monte Carlo. I will give a full report in my TR when I return.
