Anyone been there in the last year for dinner? Just wondering if it%26#39;s worth the trip downtown for the view etc...

The view is nice but a few other buildings like the Bank of America and the detention center are of about the same height.

The dark wood panelled joint is real old time Las Vegas, classy but not cheap.for a couple, maybe $150.00 or more with drinks. We enjoyed it. Make it a part of a downtown trip along with the lightshow and the fried twinkies. After life on the Strip, Fremont Street is refreshingly human sized.

I ate there last month and everything was good except the $30 steak. I don%26#39;t expect to return. I much prefer the steakhouse at Circus Circus. Still looking for a good steak downtown. May try the new one at the Golden Nugget next trip.

We went to the steakhouse at Binion%26#39;s before the casino closed. We raved about and went back after Binion%26#39;s reopened. We were very disappointed! The food was not as good and at those prices, we will not be back. We were not impressed the second time around.

I%26#39;ve eaten there 4 times, the last time being in March of this year. Very old school, dark ambience. Great service and food. View is nice also.

Maybe not the BEST steakhouse in Vegas but I would not hesitate to go back. My opinion has always been that once you start getting into the upper tier of steakhouses, the quality of the meat does not vary that much from place to place.

Thanks all.. I think we will pay downtown a visit...Steak for dinner and then blackjack at the Cal with all the old Hawaiians...That place is a hoot!

The CAL is a hoot! I%26#39;ll be there at least a little in a week.

Was there end of April for husbands bday. Called ahead of time to confirm our reservations and to let them know that it was husbands bday. Server brought him a humongous slice of chocolate cake with fresh strawberries and wished him a Happy Bday. Will go again when we go back. Food %26amp; service were good. Great view. Romantic.

What is the view we are looking at there? The light show canopy?

You are on 24th floor. You can see the lights from the Stratosphere, Strip etc. and surrounding area as well as look down and see all of the downtown stuff. It is a nice view.
