Suite at the Venetian vs. Salone Suite at Bellagio???

The Venetian Suite would be 100 per night cheaper, but money not necessarily the deciding factor. Which would you choose if you had never stayed in either; and why?

I haven%26#39;t stayed at the Venetian but I have stayed many times in a salon suite at Bellagio. Two things I%26#39;d recommend you find out before booking a salon at Bellagio: 1) Find out if the salon suites (at least the one you%26#39;d be booking) have been renovated recently. Last I heard they are the only rooms in the hotel that still have the same decor as when the hotel first opened in 1998. 2) Be specific and insist on a lake view because about half the salon suites face towards the Palms or Rio and more often than not your view includes construction of some kind or another.

That said the salon suite is a good-sized room with a nice, large bathroom. Hope this helps. Ken from Wyoming

If you%26#39;re going to spend the money on a lake-view salone suite at Bellagio, I%26#39;d recommend going across the street to Caesars and get a room in the Augustus Tower. The rooms are almost the same size as the salone suite, and much newer and nicer.

I was in a Salone a few months ago, and while the view was awesome, the inside was worn and torn. The tub is also pretty tiny, whereas at Augustus it%26#39;s a huge whirlpool.

But so the standard room at Augustus (never stayed at Ceasar%26#39;s either) is about the same size as the Salone Suite at Bellagio? Or would I have to ask for a Suite in Augustus Tower?

I stayed in a room my husband had gotten for a work convention so Im sure it wasnt an upgrade of any sort and it was great. Very large. Living room area and bedroom area. 2 sinks in bathroom etc.

I really don%26#39;t know aout the salone suite at bellagio but I know the suites in the venetian one I that I really like is the venetian bella me and five of my friends stayed there last year suite was great very nice size everything in room looked nice not worn out I think you should check the rates for this room and if it%26#39;s not out of our price range this might be a good choice for you.
