Too many expensive Restaurants

There are so many expensive upscale resturants in Vegas now, has anyone tried any?

I never want to spend that much money. The restaurants that are very expensive in the MGM are never full. The newest resturant they have (I forgot the name) the meals start at $215.00.

200-500 for a meal? No meal is worth that kind of money.

No one goes there. They are just for decoration.

It%26#39;s worth it to me - especially if you are talking about wine.

By the time you include even one glass of wine, all the way through to coffee, I don%26#39;t think $200 is too far off the mark for a moderately expensive restaurant.

Of course, you don%26#39;t have to pay a fortune if it is not in your budget or it doesn%26#39;t fit in with the kind of trip you are taking.

But, you could check out the zagat surverys for good moderate prices and great food.

If you want good food, but not a ';name'; restaurant, check out Joe%26#39;s in Caesar%26#39;s Palace Forum Shops (new section) for seafood. The portions are HUGE (even by Vegas standards) and three people can share one of their veggie sides or baked potatoes. They are great about sharing, and so you can save a lot of money (not to mention antacids) by sharing there.

Quit being a tourist and learn to be a traveller and rent a car. Food is better and cheaper off strip, more than enough to pay for a rental.

We tried Drai%26#39;s in the Barbary Coast. Did not know what to expect and was certainly not disappointed. The food was very good, the decor and service was great. The link to site is as follows:
