I am also planning on going mid December. Except for the car rental (which I already did), I%26#39;m waiting for the air schedule to open up (SWA) and the usually good marketing offers we get in the mail for that time period. I don%26#39;t think most casinos know exactly how their booking rates are going to be yet, so the best deals are probably going to show up for December after September sometime. That is just my feeling based on past experience. Of course, if you can snag a spectacular offer now, go for it. Your mileage may vary.....

If you book now you can usually change to the less expensive rate if/when it occurs but only if you book directly with the hotel and not through an online service like Expedia or through a travel agent.
