After wedding meal

My fianc茅 and I are getting married in Las Vegas in October and would like some recommendations for the meal afterwards. We are stopping at the Luxor and getting married in the little Chapel Of The Flowers. Can anybody recommend anywhere. We have seen Lawry%26#39;s The Prime Rib and Fellini%26#39;s at the Stratosphere but would like to know of any more.

Cheers

Does your wedding party consist of just the two of you??? or are you planning on dining with guest???

The Stratosphere ';On Top of the World'; has a lovely atmosphere if your looking for a nice romantic dinner and the ';Grand Luxe'; at the Venetain would be great for you and your guest, and the food is wonderful.

More infomation please. As previous poster asked, any guests? Roughly what%26#39;s your budget? What sort of food? etc

Have you already reserved/made a deposit on Little Chapel of the Flowers?

HI guys thanks for replying. There are going to be 10 of us in total. at the moment we were looking at about 拢500 - 拢600+ roughly $1000 - $1200+. We have looked at the Venetian and it looks amazing. we are up to any types of food but we have a few guest coming that don%26#39;t like anything ';fancy'; we were looking at Lawry%26#39;s as it looks to be a simple menu. Italian is not out of the question though. We have already booked the chapel as it was part of the holiday bundle. We looked on the web and found a lot of good reviews on the chapel as well as the hotel. i hope this is enough info if not please reply and i will do my best in answering

I have just had a look at the Grand Lux in the Venation and the menu looks really good. Especially the molten chocolate cake what is the restaurant like atmosphere wise is it sutable for a wedding meal. I am asking as we will probably be going directly from the chapel. Dress and all.

I think it will be appropriate. My Best Friend had her wedding reception there 3yrs ago and I haven%26#39;t stopped going yet. The food was great and we were seated in a private room.

Call the Grand Lux and let them know that you%26#39;ll like to make a reservation for your wedding party at a certain time. I%26#39;m sure they%26#39;ll be very helpful.

The Grand Lux would be good for you, nothing famcy and a large menu so everyone should be pleased.

I was in a wedding at Little Chapel of the Flowers. The ceremony itself was ok and the photographs were good (you can get them the next day I believe). However, the video of the wedding was TERRIBLE, looked like some little kid did it.

There were web cams in the front corners of the chapel, also one in the middle of the front that wasn%26#39;t visible. The bride kept looking a the two corner ones, she wanted her mother to see her! When we saw the video, all it showed as she walked down the aisle was the footage from the center camera. So, it made her look very goofy looking from side to side instead of toward her groom and down the aisle. Those webcams are fixed, there is no videographer filming the ceremony. You would think they do it enough that the still photographer would know to be out of camera range as he moves about but NO......he did not, on the video it showed him walking back and forth during the entire ceremony. All but for the actual vows, the entire video was a joke!

I%26#39;m sorry that this might upset you but I thought you should know. Btw, the wedding I%26#39;m speaking of was last November and like you, the bridal couple were from the UK.

The Venetian is lovely, you will enjoy your time there, is there any way you could change the wedding venue to there?

I agree that the MENU at Grand Lux is maybe a good choice. But the atmosphere? For a WEDDING celebration? I mean, nothing wrong with the place, but it IS basically the Venetian%26#39;s coffee shop restaurant.

You and your party may be nicely dressed, but you could be surrounded by people in cut-off shorts and tank tops.

I agree with Grand Luxe plus the hotel is very easy on the eyes and a lot of places to take photos. Don%26#39;t worry about wedding dresses. One of the coolest things you will find in Vegas is all the Wedding parties walking around doing everything and anything in their wedding attire.
