We are a group of 8 in our early 20s coming to Vegas in August. Could you pass along some ideas on where to get a decent meal for a reasonable price? ($20. or less)
Bargain Meals
My suggestions would be Ellis Island, Outback Steakhouse in the Casino Royale and Margarita%26#39;s in the New Frontier. Also most downtown restaurants are quite reasonably priced.

Orleans buffet is well known as great value and decent food.
We went daily either for breaky or lunch,
$6.95 and $7.95
If you are staying on the strip, just take the shuttle from the Barbary coast which is between, Bally%26#39;s and Flamingo and across the street from Bellagio. It is small, I think about 8 stories tall, and also where Big Elvis sings.
oh yah, and I heard Cheesecake cafe is great, big enough portions to have two to a dinner plate, and often people share one dinner so don%26#39;t feel bad about asking to share
Where are you staying? Going to have a car or two?
Sorry, forgot to give that important info--we are staying at NY/NY and do not have a car--only our two feet!
I was going to say.....that if you can get to Downtown, they have some of the cheapest meals around! Almost.....almost every hotel on the Strip has some type of coffee shop/diner that has more than reasonable prices. NYNY itself has tons of places to eat that are cheap. There%26#39;s even a Nathan%26#39;s Hot Dog stand!
Given your location...(NYNY) check out Nine Fine Irishmen in NYNY and the Brew Pub in Monte Carlo (no to far)
while you are there, ensure you hit the duelling pianos in NYNY
as well, try to hit Purple Reign in the Monte Carlo brew pub.
Also, remember you can take free shuttles.
To get to the Orleans, take the shuttle from Barbary Coast.
Enjoy and be sure to post a TR when you get back
Hard rock Hotel has a steak dinner for 7.77
Its a good meal at a cheap price.
Any number of places downtown
