Hi we are travelling to vegas in august from the u.k we are staying for a week and then going to Cancun for 2 weeks. We are flying from Las Vegas to Miami on american airlines our flight is at 7.30 in the morning how long before the flight do we need to be at the airport also what are AA flights like. Any info about these questions and internal flights would be lovely thank-you
local flightsbump
local flightsi usually like to get to the airport at least an 1 1/2 hours ahead of time so I can take care of any problems that may occur. I flew American last month, no free food was served except pretzels but you could by $2 worth of snacks for $4. They had also eliminated pillows. Not alot of blankets were available. One soft drink for a 3 hour flight.
thank-you for your help
After a week in vegas I do not think you will care what american will have. May be sore from sunburn and I know you will be sore from walking. By the time you make it to Cancun you will sleep for a day!
If you are gonig through customs @ LV you better get there at least 1 1/2 hours before had. Normally a lot of 7:30 ish flight leaving from LV some it will be crowed at checkin. If you go through customs in Miami hopr you have a lay over before the Cancun flight.
American has cut all service and extras. The crew does its best with what they have. Bring lots of wate with you on board! You will be dehydrated by the time you leave vegas and flying compounds it.
You don%26#39;t clear Customs at your departing airport, you clear when you arrive. So no need to allow extra time for Customs when flying from Las Vegas to Miami, this is not an International flight...
If this is a funjet type of vacation. You go to immigartion on your departure. I flew from vegas to ACA via arizona and had to clear all in vegas.
But it%26#39;s not a Funjet vacation to ACA via Arizona. They clearly posted that they are flying from Las Vegas to Miami on American Airlines. They will not clear Customs on departure from Las Vegas.
thank-you everybody for your info
