mirage or mgm ?

hi newbie here , we need some experienced advise this is our first trip to vegas . i gamble frequently in ms at some other mgm properties and was able to get a 4 night standard room comp at my choice of mirage or mgm . we are going first week in august . i wanted to know which property would be better for us, the pool thing isnt huge for us , we do enjoy a nice room and the casino is important , im a blackjack player primarily . so help us out with a decision , thanks for any advise .

While the MGM is bigger with more gambling places, I would take Mirage. If you get tired of gambling there, you have multiple choices around you to choose from

I agree that Mirage has the better location. I happen, however, to also really like the MGM. You%26#39;ll be happy at either, but for a first visit, go with Mirage.

I have never stayed at the Mirage but just got back last week from Vegas and we stayed at MGM. I have to say that the rooms were very nice and the staff was excellent. Pool area is huge and we never had a problem finding chairs as I heard that can be a problem at the Mirage. As far as location, Mirage is definitely better but I tend to like the casinos further down by MGM. We took the monorail several times to the center of the strip. Blackjack at MGM was minimum $10 per hand but we walked to the Tropicana and Excalibur and found $5 tables. I%26#39;m sure whatever hotel you choose you%26#39;ll have a blast. Enjoy!!

Both have decent rooms, about the same at both. I would choose the Mirage for nice mid strip location, and a little more of a subdued, refined atmosphere in lobby/casino

Both are great choices but I would vote Mirage.

The location, atmosphere and everything about the place is far superior to MGM.

Going back there myself next week.......
